Custom Tesla Model Y light shows from any song

Model Y is the most common car in the light-show crowd, and its wide rear light bar and power liftgate make for a lively show from behind as well as the front. What the show does on a Model Y

Model Y shows can use the headlights, tail lights, turn signals, fog lights, mirror folds, the charge port and the liftgate. ilume only commands closures your model actually has and stays within the per-show command limits, so the liftgate and windows are used sparingly.

How it works

1. Open the Studio and choose Model Y as your vehicle.
2. Upload a song. The beat is analyzed locally in your browser with the Web Audio API — your song is never uploaded.
3. Pick a style or a seasonal preset (Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Valentine, July 4, birthday, wedding or summer).
4. Watch the full show on a 3D Model Y as often as you like — preview is free and unlimited.
5. Export to USB for $9.99 ($5.99 with code HOLIDAYS) and get a ready-to-play FSEQ v2 file plus the audio.

Playing the show on your Model Y

1. Format a USB drive as exFAT or FAT32.
2. Unzip your ilume export to the root so the drive contains a LightShow folder with lightshow.fseq and the matching audio file (.wav or .mp3).
3. Make sure there is no TeslaCam folder at the root of the same drive.
4. Plug the drive into the car, open Toybox → Light Show, and start your show.

Safety: a light show can move closures — mirrors, the trunk or liftgate, the charge port and windows, including the power liftgate. Park somewhere with room around the car, keep people and objects clear of moving parts, and only run shows while parked.
