The short version

Ilume has no accounts and doesn't collect your music. Shows are generated entirely in your browser.

Your music

Song files you choose are analyzed and turned into light shows locally on your device using your browser's built-in audio tools. They are never uploaded to our servers.

Show data on your device

We temporarily save your show in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) so it survives the trip to checkout and back. You can clear it anytime by clearing your browser's site data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe may collect your email and payment details under the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive confirmation of payment and basic order info (such as amount, date, and email if provided) to deliver your download and handle refunds.

Hosting and logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.

Cookies and analytics

We don't use advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or run ads in the future, we'll update this page.

Promo program

If you tag us on social media for a free-show code, we see only what you post publicly and the handle you send us.

Children

Ilume isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Since we hold almost no personal data, there's little to request. To ask about or delete any order info we have, email us.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
